The Kenneth E. Cowan Civic Center in Lebanon, Missouri

The Cowan Civic Center is a gorgeous massive multipurpose complex located right in the heart of downtown Lebanon, Missouri. It contains a large “Exhibit Hall“, several quiet Meeting Rooms, a super large Theater that rivals any Branson auditorium and the Lebanon Family YMCA. The YMCA includes its own swimming pool, hardwood floor gymnasium with basketball court, and a Multipurpose Sports Facility which has a rubber sports floor for walking, tennis and volleyball, locker rooms and a weight and exercise room.

The Exhibition Hall is a dedicated area covering over 46,000 square feet. This area is ideally suited for trade shows, theatrical productions, concerts, and conventions. It has been used many times for sports events such as rodeos and indoor motor cross. Perfect for banquets, the floor area is large enough for almost any award ceremony including dining facilities, (tables and chairs available). The Center can provide risers and stage for presentations as well.

The Exhibition Hall facility offers modern climate control for comfort throughout the year. Sound and lighting equipment were specifically designed or chosen to enhance the arena. Industrial power systems were built-in to accommodate demanding electrical requirements for almost any type of event or equipment. Several large bay doors have been strategically installed, make loading and unloading large or small equipment and other structures a breeze.

The Lebanon, Missouri Civic Center Meeting Rooms were designed to be flexible, functional, quiet and aesthetically pleasing. The rooms can accommodate either large or small groups comfortably. The largest room can hold up to 300 people. However, the rooms can be tailor fitted for the size of the participants with special designed moving panels. Each room also incorporates its own climate controls, computer presentation facilities and audio capabilities. There is even a fully equipped commercial kitchen available, should your needs require it.

When you see the Theater for the first time, it will set you back on your heels. This luxurious auditorium can comfortably seat 675 people and includes an easy access handicap entrance and exit. The state-of-the-art acoustical and lighting equipment was custom designed to bring out the absolute best that any performance or performer can offer. There are large dressing rooms for both male and female, make-up rooms and storage areas back stage. Tiered seating has been designed and incorporated so that everyone, no matter where they are sitting, can have an unobstructed view of the stage. This unbelievable theater is one of Lebanon’s pride and joys.
