Lions Club

The Lions Club was founded in 1915, and has become the world’s largest service club organization with 46,000 clubs and 1.35 million members active in over 200 countries.

Their SightFirst Program, which works to eliminate blindness, sees Lions conducting vision screenings, equipping hospitals and clinics, distributing medicine, and raising awareness of eye disease all over the world.

Rotary Club

Called Rotarians, they form a global network of 1.2 million business and professional leaders, all volunteering their time and talents to serve their communities and the world.

Lebanon’s rotary club was organized in 1936 by twenty local business and professional leaders in Lebanon and Laclede county.  Today Lebanon’s rotary has over 120 members. They meet every Thursday at noon in the Wallace building, located at 325 Harwood Avenue.

Optimist Club

Optimist International is a worldwide volunteer organization made up of more than 2,500 local Clubs whose Members work each day to make the future brighter by bringing out the best in children, in their communities, and in themselves.

Lebanon’s Optimist Club meets every Monday at T’s Redneck Steakhouse between noon and 1PM

Kiwanis Club

Founded in 1915, the Kiwanis are an international, coeducational group of volunteers “dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time”.

Serving the children of Lebanon and Laclede County Missouri, the Kiwanis club of Lebanon meets each Tuesday at 12:00 noon in the meeting room at T’s Redneck Steak House, though meetings are cancelled if school is out due to bad weather.

Key Club

Sponsored by the Kiwanis, the Key Club is one of the oldest service organizations for high-school students in America. Like the Kiwanis, members of the Key club serve the children of the world by helping clean up parts, collecting clothing donations, and organizing food drives.

Robert Gould is listed as in charge of Lebanon Senior High School’s Key club, but there is little other information about joining available online, so if interested, ask one of your children to ask around at school.

Lebanon Elk’s Lodge (Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks)

An American fraternal order around since 1868, the Elk’s invest in their communities to help children and keep them off of drugs, addressing unmet needs, and honor and assist our veterans.

Located at 25111 Pecos Dr, Lebanon’s Elks meet on the first & third Monday of every month, except July & August, (third Mondays only).

Lebanon Camera Club

Lebanon’s Camera Club is great at taking pictures, not so great at sharing information about themselves online. If you are a member, or know more about the group, let us know so we can provide the world with some information.

Lebanon Amateur Radio Club

Meeting the first Monday of every month. The time is 6:00 PM for dinner with the meeting to follow. The location is Frankie D’s Restaurant on East Elm Street. All hams, or those interested in becoming a ham are invited to attend.

According to their site, “LARC, K0LH, sponsors two amateur 2 meter repeaters. The main repeater is located in Lebanon, Missouri on a frequency of 146.700 down 600. The second repeater is located at Conway, Missouri on a frequency of 145.470 down 600. Our weekly net meets on Tuesday night 7:00 PM, CST or 8:00 PM CDT on 146.700. That is followed with a roll call check in on the 145.470 machine. It is an open net and all are welcome to check in. Each repeater uses the 88.5 CTCSS tone.”

If you know what any of that means, you’d probably make a good addition to the club.

Lebanon Art Guild

Located at 227 W Commercial Street in Lebanon, the Lebanon Art Guild is open Tuesday-Saturday. Occasionally host to bluegrass music, the guild typically focuses on displaying and selling the work of guild members to pay for rent and other overhead costs.
